This is one of the first games to be able put an ear to ear grin on my face in many, many years. You might not turn into a fighting game god over night but you can at least enjoy not sucking a giant bag of dicks every match. Want to stop getting your ass handed to you in Street Fighter and Tekken? Play this game, and then take what you learned and apply it to Street Fighter and Tekken. And one of the only fighting games where the tutorial will teach you actual fighting game theory (the only other fighting game to really do this is Killer Instinct which is an Xbox One exclusive). If you don't mind the game being highly sexually charged then you will find that it's actually a great fighting game.

It's just a paper work simulator so why is it such a harrowing experience? The only thing is that if you want to play a game with your friends this will leave you wanting since the games are single player only.ĢD dog fighting arcade game that makes you really feel like and ace pilot.
Remastered versions (dubbed "redux") of both games are due out shortly and I highly recommend picking them up. Also, I strongly recommend trying the game as a Mechromancer.īoth Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light easily outdo any other fps I've played in years and years, it easily rivals many of the biggest shooters out there. It's great fun and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is by far my favorite dlc ever. It is really just the best shoot and loot game.

With mods Skyrim becomes a simply mind blowing game. A lot of the titles I chose are small indie games too which aren't that expensive, though that really wasn't a conscious decision, I just realized I like the little indie games more when I went through my library.īy it's self, Skyrim is an amazing game. I chose these games from what I own and have actually gotten around to playing so if I've missed some masterpiece I'm sorry but I'm just one man. Ok so this ended up being my top twelve, but whatever, I had to narrow it down from a list of 400. Sorry for the text of wall and please other Paradox fans don't blame me for not putting CK II there. Have fun whether you will try these games or not. (this game is also on discount right now) Robbing banks and other ridiculous heists will never grow old and with a lot of customization this is easily the best game of it's kind. The only shooter I really ever enjoyed after TF2. There is a great mod (greywolvesmod IIRC) and makes it pretty good (that is if you like commanding a U-boot anyway).ġ0: Payday 2. I just like submarine warfare and this is that. Now this isn't really a game many will like. The learning curve is terrible though.ĩ: silent hunter 3. antoher great game by paradox (just like EU IV) and if you liked EU IV and like the time period in which victoria 2 is located this is a great game. The gameplay is great but to understand you really have to have played it I'm afraid.Ĩ: Victoria 2. (do note this is a early access game and even though it gets updated regularly if you don't like the sound of this concept you should really wait for it's release) Is a fun prison building game with a few mods to change things every now and then like building a stalag or gulag for a change. If you even like tanks in the slightest and don't mind an arcady gamestyle you should really try this.ħ: Prison architect.

Great game to play with friends (just like EU IV really.) a lot more relaxed than other strategy games and you most likely know/ own this game already.Ħ:( Yes I know this isn't on steam but I really felt that this was worth mentioning it's free after all while it isn't pay to win. It can be easy but the feeling you'll get when you finish the final sector is amazing.ĥ: civ V. Best dungeon crawler type game I ever played. Also has great mods and an active community.Ĥ: Faster Than Light. The AI of your troops is a bit meh but hit detection is perfect and that is essential for a swordfighting pike poking game. Do mission for a certain faction or just plain out trade(boooo). You start out as a nobody and can start recruiting peasants and raid weak villages to make a swift advace but with a high risk. ( here is it anyway)ģ: mount and blade warband.

There also is a very good lord of the rings mod according to my friends but I never liked the series myself. Combat is versatile for many reasons and even though it doesn't look pretty it is very fun to play. (or any total war game before shogun 2) this total war game has the most features and isn't as dummed down as rome 2. Also has steam workshop support.Ģ: Medieval 2 total war. After a few hours you understand everything what's going on. The diplomacy system is perfect and the UI is made perfectly. Well here are my favorite games in order:ġ: Europa Universalis IV has everything I ever wanted when I was looking for strategy games.
